Student Guided Tour of Alternate Paths: New Object Histories from Africa to America

Join us for a tour of the exhibition Alternate Paths to explore the transformative journey of African objects through time.
Field trips introduce students to a selection of artworks and encourage them to look, analyze, and share their responses to the art. To schedule a K–12 field trip, review the options, then fill out a request form.
Many of our students have never been exposed to a museum. It was wonderful for the students to be a part of this engaging educational experience.

We offer a range of options for people living with disabilities and learning differences. These tours are tailored to meet the needs of participants. Options include tours for participants living with dementia; for blind and low-vision guests; for autistic and neurodiverse participants; and for those living with sensory differences.
