Continuing more than two decades of collaboration, the museum and the art teachers of the Monroe County School Corporation partner to celebrate national Youth Art Month with a student art exhibition and reception. Throughout the month of March, 100 artworks by kindergarten through sixth-grade students are on display at the museum. Celebrate young artists while exploring with our "Looking and Talking about Art" guides for the whole family to engage with art.
Pre-K–12 children and their families are invited to play and learn together in the Art-making Studio. All ages and experience levels can explore materials, methods, and creativity as a family.
Find family fun every day at the museum. Join a guided tour or let the kids lead the way through our seven galleries! Young learners can even participate in a scavenger hunt of the museum, teaching their families about the art. Together you'll discover, play, and be curious.
