Youth & Family

Bring the family

Find excitement in learning together as you explore all that the museum has to offer. Our galleries and Kimberly and John Center for Education offer welcoming environments for children of all ages. Come with friends, family, or anyone else you might enjoy exploring with! Learn more about our programs for young learners and find new ways to interact with art.

Youth Art Month

Continuing more than two decades of collaboration, the museum and the art teachers of the Monroe County School Corporation partner to celebrate national Youth Art Month with a student art exhibition and reception. Throughout the month of March, 100 artworks by kindergarten through sixth-grade students are on display at the museum. Celebrate young artists while exploring with our "Looking and Talking about Art" guides for the whole family to engage with art.

Family Days

Pre-K–12 children and their families are invited to play and learn together in the Art-making Studio. All ages and experience levels can explore materials, methods, and creativity as a family.
