As Director of Administration and Strategic Initiatives, Darla Blazey serves on the senior leadership team and oversees finance, human resources, security and guest services, and café and gift shop operations at the museum. She also facilitates strategic initiatives. An experienced cultural and community leader with a background in financial management, economic development, and strategic planning, she previously was Senior Consultant for Economic Development at TPMA and served as Director of Community Development and Planning for the city of Jasper, Indiana. Blazey also was Executive Director of Jasper Community Arts, where she continues to serve as Board President. She received her BA in psychology from Indiana University where she is a candidate for an MPA through the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Blazey was a 2023 fellow at the Tobias Center for Leadership Excellence, Kelley School of Business.
