The IU Eskenazi Museum of Art is excited to share highlights from 2021 with guests and supporters. You can view the latest Annual Review online to learn more about our accomplishments during the 2021 calendar year.

Each year, the Eskenazi Museum of Art presents featured exhibitions, acquires new works of art, engages guests with original artworks through gallery tours and special viewings, and connects Pre-K–12 and university students and educators with the museum’s collection. The Annual Review presents some of the highlights of our programs through metrics, photographs, and stories. It also includes an update on the museum’s strategic plan and highlights new works of art that have been added to the collection.

Our museum remains committed to engagement with our communities through an authentic culture of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. We look forward to sharing our accomplishments over the last year with our supporters.

About the IU Eskenazi Museum of Art

Since its establishment in 1941, the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art has grown from a small university teaching collection into one of the most significant university art collections in the United States. A preeminent teaching museum on the Indiana University campus, its internationally acclaimed collection includes more than 45,000 objects representing nearly every art-producing culture throughout history from around the world.

The Eskenazi Museum of Art recently completed a $30 million renovation of its acclaimed I. M. Pei–designed building. The newly renovated museum is an enhanced teaching resource for Indiana University and southern Indiana. The museum is dedicated to engaging students, faculty, artists, scholars, alumni, and the wider public through the cultivation of new ideas and scholarship.
