African Art

Clay vessel with wide shoulders and a short, cylindrical neck with a slightly flared rim. The exterior of the body of the vessel is decorated with an elaborate pattern of circles and diagonal, pointed ovoid shapes.

Art of the Ancient World

This small pitcher is made to resemble a duck. Geometric patterns, reminicent of wings, are painted in red and black on both sides. The spout has a beak-like projection and two eyes.  A  handle extends along the back.
