Biography
Maria Elisabeth Ziesenis is known for her work as a painter. She was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1744. She studied art with her father, the portrait painter Johann Georg Ziesenis. After her father’s death, Elizabeth married Johann Bodo Lampe. In 1780, she became a member of the Kassel Academy. Ziesenis died in Hannover in 1796.
