Four small curvilinear stone forms on a wooden pedestal base.
In 1934, Moore began a series of small carvings composed of two, three, or four abstract forms, which he developed through preparatory drawings. The biomorphic quality of the forms reveals the influence of sculptors such as Hans Arp and Constantin Brancusi.
