The Virgin Mary and St. Anne sit side by side, holding the infant Christ between them and looking down at him. Behind them, two putti hold an embroidered gold cloth with a dove. At the top of the composition, God appears as the Holy Father, with a long beard and crown and holding a globe in his hand.
