A mask in the form of an elephant head. The head has large ears, and two curving tusks on either side of the trunk.
Masks in the Grasslands depict both humans and animals. Among animals depicted, elephants are among the most prestigious: the size and strength of the animal has made it an important symbol of leaders across the region.
