A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts a middle-aged and a young man, both with light skin and dark hair, sitting in a pair of armchairs reading the newspaper with their legs crossed. Nearest the camera, the young man reads cartoons and wears a zip-front plaid jacket, wool slacks, and leather brogues. Farther from the camera, the older man wears dark-rimmed glasses and a three-piece pinstripe suit.
