A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts a wooden building with hand-painted lettering across the top. Above the front entrance, it reads “NEW YORK STORE | TRUNKS SUITCASES 95₵.” On the side of the building, it reads “OVERALLS PANTS SHIRTS; MEN DRESS SHOES- $1.89₵ and up; WORK CLOTHING- STETSON HATS; SUN-HATS-19₵.” A freestanding sign outside the store repeats “TRUNKS SUITCASES 95₵.” Two signs reading “SALE” flank the doorway. The adjacent building has partially visible lettering on the side, including the words “RING FLOUR.”
