A square black-and-white photograph depicts a teenager and a child leaning against a store window displaying sunglasses. The boys appear to be brothers; they are both light-skinned with light-colored eyes, and they gaze out towards the street. The younger boy wears denim coveralls and a black baseball cap, and the older boy wears a a brimmed hat, tattered trousers, a black belt, and a tattered, casual, white collared shirt printed with an image of a soldier standing above a prone figure and a bugler.
