A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts two middle-aged, light-skinned men resting against the railing of a bridge, looking directly at the camera; a third figure is partially visible in the foreground, but their face is cropped out of the image. The two men are dressed in work clothing; the standing man farther from the camera wears a worn, fedora-type hat, a dark zip front jacket, gloves, and dark canvas pants while the sitting man nearer to the camera wears a light driver's cap, denim coveralls, a heavy denim jacket, gloves, and black boots. The sun is bright and high and in the sky, causing the men's hats to cast stark shadows on their faces.
