A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts an older, light-skinned man standing behind a counter surrounded by folded fabric bolts on shelves. The man has a mustache, and he wears round glasses, a stained button-up shirt with the sleeves partially rolled up, suspenders, and black trousers. He appears to be standing in a fabric store; behind him are shelves of various printed fabrics, a shelf of different colored spools of thread, and a large roll of paper is positioned to one side of the counter, presumably to wrap orders.
