A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts a nighttime city scene taken from above. The image centers around a three-story building with lighted storefronts on the street level; the building is bordered on the left by a tall, dark office building, on the near side by a sidewalk and small parking area with four cars, and on the right side by a busy street with more storefronts. There are wreaths and garlands decorating the streets.
Provenance research is ongoing for this and many other items in the Eskenazi Museum of Art permanent collection. For more information about the provenance of this artwork, please contact the department curator with specific questions.
