Farm boys in beer parlor on Sunday afternoon -- Finnish community of Bruces Crossing, Michigan

A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts two light-skinned, relatively young adult men having a conversation with one another in a wooden restaurant booth. The man on the right hand side smiles, and holds a bottle of beer in one hand and a hand-rolled cigarette in the other. The man on the left hand side seems to be mid-statement, and he is pouring a drink from a bottle into a glass.
