Thirty-three acres of contour furrows constructed by hand and machine to attempt revegetation by protection from grazing and seeding furrows to sweet clover, crested wheatgrass and slender wheatgrass. Furrows were constructed and seeded in the spring of 1936 on Sagemoor loam. Furrows were reseeded in spring of 1938 to native bunch grass, crested wheatgrass, sweet clover, Canadian wild rye, and wild blue rye.
