A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts two signs posted to and hanging from a wooden beam. Both signs feature five or six illustrated apples and text. The sign on the left reads, "FIVE LAYER'S | THE MORE PRIDE YOU HAVE | IN YOUR PACK THE BETTER | PACKER | CORRECT SIZE MARKER ON / THE BOX / NOT MORE THAN ONE / PAPPER ON EACH APPLE / SIZE PAPPER TO USE | 9x9 - 150 AND SMALLER | 10x10 - 138-100 | 11x11 100-64 | HOW TO START A 3x2 PACK," and the sign on the right reads, "PLACE EVERY APPLE ON | THE CHEEK | STEMS ALL ONE WAY | FOUR LAYER | DONT HAVE HIGH OR | HOLLOW PLACS IN THE | LAYES | PACK ALL 2x2 TIGHT | 2x2 pack 1 1/4" BULK | HOW TO START A 2x2 PACK."
