A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts an older light-skinned man sleeping sitting upright at the left side of a couch. His fedora hat is pulled down over his left eye, his legs are crossed, and a newspaper rests on his knee. The newspaper headline reads (upside down): "THE HOUSTON CHRONICLE | SOVIET ACCUSES ROOSEVELT OF 'MIXING IN' | FASCIST CHIEFS DEPOSED IN BIG SHAKE-UP".
