A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts a group of seven light-skinned people, including an older man and woman, two children, and three men, standing in a scattered line in front of a machine. The machine is inside a building and the older man, who appears more dressed up than the rest, uses his hand to pull a lever.
Provenance research is ongoing for this and many other items in the Eskenazi Museum of Art permanent collection. For more information about the provenance of this artwork, please contact the department curator with specific questions.
