A horizontal black-and-white photograph depicts a billboard standing in a grassy field. The billboard illustrates a triangle formation of soldiers and presumably Lady Liberty standing before them holding the American Legion seal and a sign that reads, "THE | CONSTITUTION | OF THE | UNITED STATES." Text above and below the illustration reads, "TO UPHOLD and DEFEND | STATE CONVENTION - CAPE GIRARDEAN - SEPTEMBER 4-5-6."
