The cross is composed of two halves which are hinged at the top with a chain loop; it has an additional hook at the bottom. One side depicts a man with a halo (Christ) during the crucifixion. A sun and moon are depicted above his head and smaller figures on the outer sides of the arms of the cross. The other side (photo not currently available) depicts a standing woman with arms raised in blessing.
