An arm band has a large oval garnet set into the center. Two curved strips of sheet gold are attached by hinges to the side of the central setting; these bands are decorated with filigree patterns and egg-and-dart borders. Four groups of three short chains, each ending in a colored glass bead, are attached to the corners of the hinges.
