A face mask with an unpainted wood handle. The mask has a very large nose and an open mouth that shows teeth.
In the western Southern Savanna, depictions of human images from the area of the lower Congo Rivers tend to be more naturalistic than those farther east from the vicinity of the Kwango and Kwiliu rivers, such as this example.
