An ovoid jar has a small footed base and a narrow, slightly flaring neck that rises from the rounded shoulder; two handles attach shoulder to lower lip on each side of the neck. Floral and ray patterns decorate the neck and lower section of the pot, but central panels on each side contain figural imagery, on one side: a man riding a horse is accompanied by a flying hawk and on the other a lion with woman's head and bird's wings (a sphinx) is seated turns her head to look behind her.
