A clay bowl with birds depicted on a band with a white background. The birds are all outlined in black and look up to the rim of the bowl.
Nazca ceramics often depict human, animal, and plant life in a stylized manner with characteristic black outlining. This bowl shows a repeated bird motif.
Created using a polychrome slip painting technique, Nazca artists applied the slip to the vessel before firing.
