Small model of a shed or pig sty and small walled enclosure with a sow and piglets.
Han funerary models were buried with the deceased for use in the afterlife. The Chinese believed that the afterlife was much like the present life and one’s commitments, needs, pleasures, and concerns didn’t end with death.
