A black tree sheds the last of its leaves, which take the form of black ink splatter. The background is filled with text in red, yellow, blue, green and black ink. The following phrases or words are repeated: "laughed and cried like a child," “how it came to pass that master cherry,” “found a piece of wood,” and “carpenter.”
