The boy puppet Pinocchio's head in black ink at the bottom of the page looks to the left. A faint rendering of the old man Geppetto is printed behind him. Black text at the top reads, "Geppetto returns home and gives Pinocchio the breakfast that the poor man had brought for himself,” with some words repeating.
