Pinocchio, a puppet boy wearing short overalls, stands on the left side of the page with his arms at his sides. Black text on a bright yellow background fills the rest of the page. Repeated and overlapping with rough black marks, it reads, "The story of Pinocchio and the Talking Cricket, from which we see that naughty boys cannot endure to be corrected by those who know more than they do."
