Mesoamerica and the Intermediate Area

Some exceptionally fine objects from Mesoamerica present a survey of art of the Formative (1200 BC–AD 300), Classic (300–1000) and Post-Classic (1000–1521) periods. Figurative sculpture and jewelry in ceramic and stone are particularly well represented.
