American Storybook: The Imaginary Travelogue of Thomas Chambers, will feature over twenty paintings, by this unique and enigmatic nineteenth century American landscape painter. On loan from the IU Eskenazi Museum of Art, this exhibition is part of a larger ongoing partnership between the Eskenazi Museum and the Speed Art Museum, which includes a second concurrent exhibition Picasso to Pollock: Modern Masterworks from the Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University. We encourage you to visit the Speed Art Museum to see these exhibitions while we are closed. IU students and staff will receive free admission to the Speed with their IU Crimson Cards.
