Art Museum Student Organization

The Art Museum Student Organization of Indiana University is dedicated to promoting the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art by bridging the gap between students and the museum, heightening art awareness on campus, and creating a strong arts community around the museum. The Art Museum Student Organization aims to encourage and create opportunities for student involvement with the museum, along with gaining valuable skills and connections with those in the art world.

Indiana University students hold the executive officer positions (president, vice president or co-president, and financial officer), and all Indiana University undergraduates are eligible to apply for positions on the Board of Directors and its subordinate committees. An advisor from the Eskenazi Museum of Art's education department oversees and acts as a liaison between museum staff and AMSO. Regular meetings are held every two weeks during the fall and spring semesters.
