This vessel is made in the form of a bust of a young man. The base of the flask is the rounded base of the bust and a spout with two small handles rises from the head. The youth has long, curly hair, a necklace with a round pendant, and wears a cloak draped accross one shoulder.
Provenance research is ongoing for this and many other items in the Eskenazi Museum of Art permanent collection. For more information about the provenance of this artwork, please contact the department curator with specific questions.
