Ragmala, translated as Garland of Melodies, is a group of musical modes or raags, sung at various times of the day. Each of the raags is represented as a person within a larger family or musical group. This image presents Sohouti, the daughter of Malkos Raga, to be sung at the 9th hour of the day.
