About this Work

The feet of this small bowl are simple, squarish strips of glass attached as standrings. The bowl is decorated with yellow striated flowers, encased in white and dark blue outer layers. The elements are set tightly together at fairly regular elements.

This type of bowl was widely distributed throughout the Roman world.
