Horseshoe-Shaped Brooch (Fibula)

A large brooch is horseshoe-shaped. It has a straight pin fastener, paired with a thin supporting bar, that stretches across the open end of the horse-shoe. The clasp that closes the pin is made in the form of a standing lion.
