About this Work

To show off his urban-chic style and kamalenba (playboy) attitude, this Bozo fisherman dressed for his portrait in a bell-bottomed suit, platform shoes, sunglasses, and a sailor cap, and chose as accoutrements a new bag and a radio. Sitou arranged the man in a three-quarter pose and used a low camera angle to draw attention to his accessories and to emphasize his fashionable character and casual, cool composure.
