Fine Arts Plaza

Join us for the First Thursday festival organized by the IU Arts and Humanities Council. Here are some of the activities you can enjoy:

Open Studio: Create a cut-out inspired by Matisse's Jazz
The art museum will reopen with a new art-making studio. Here we are piloting a mini pop-up version of a new series called Open Studio. Drop by to create a cut-out collage inspired by Matisse's Jazz.

Docent Experience: Out of Easy Reach
When you visit the Out of Easy Reach exhibition, say hello to a docent from the IU Eskenazi Museum of Art. They will be there to talk with you about the art and show you around if you'd like someone to walk and talk with through the exhibition.

Scavenger Hunt
Take part in a scavenger hunt hosted by IU First Year Experience (FYE). Start at the FYE table on the arts circle. Explore some of the best campus art spaces on and around the Fine Arts Plaza, and win cool prizes!

Pop-up Poll with Free Cookies!
Help the art museum prepare to reopen by taking a quick poll that will test a new museum experience, share your feedback, and get a free cookie for your efforts!
