Movie: The Destruction of Memory (2016)
This documentary looks at how the destruction of cultural heritage (buildings, books, and art) has been utilized as a tool of war—today and in the past. Ambassador Feisal Amin Rasoul al-Istrabadi, Founding Director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East, will lead a discussion with the film's director after the film.
This program is presented in partnership with IU Cinema and is sponsored in part by Marsha R. Bradford and Harold A. Dumes. The talks and films are free and open to the public.
