Facility Rentals & Events
The Eskenazi Museum of Art's Thomas T. Solley Atrium, an architectural masterwork by the world-renowned architect I. M. Pei, provides a dramatic backdrop to a dinner, reception, or special event.
Spaces available for events include the first and second floors of the atrium and the second-floor outdoor sculpture terrace. You may also choose to have one or more of our three permanent galleries open during an event for your guests' enjoyment. The museum's Special Exhibitions Gallery is also available when there is an installed exhibit.
Museum rental spaces are currently available for IU-affiliated entities as well as other nonprofit organizations on a case by case basis. If you are interested in a rental space, please submit a proposal that include details about the event’s date, time, and expected audience, as well as a brief description of the event.
The Eskenazi Museum of Art welcomes opportunities to collaborate with IU-affiliated and community entities, including those who wish to use the museum for public events. Past collaborations include:
- Noon Concerts presented by the Office of International Services
- Art of Chocolate, an annual fundraiser for LifeDesigns, Inc.
- Student socials for Hutton Honors College
- Nourish International’s 2014 Fashion Show for Guatemala
- Giving Back to Africa’s student art project and exhibition
- Student art activities presented by IU Residence Hall Association
- Visiting artist lectures and workshops
